Tasha Root, the expectant mother, is such an interesting and selfless person on top of also being drop-dead gorgeous. Getting to work with her and her son was such an enjoyable experience. This photo shoot was very unique and served two different purposes: One was to commemorate her adorable son’s third birthday and the other was to announce the gender of the baby to the future parents. Yep, you read that right, Tasha is a surrogate mother. This reveal was very exciting, because although it was not her first time being a surrogate, it was the first time that she had been pregnant with a baby girl. Speaking as someone who has done the whole pregnancy thing five times — being pregnant is TOUGH. Yet somehow, Tasha makes it look so easy! I strongly admire Tasha for graciously incorporating surrogacy into her life and for giving families the most precious gift of all. Shoots like these are what makes me love this job and I am so thankful for the different types of people that this line of work has brought into my life.
