Sometimes I am just completely taken back when I am doing a newborn portrait session. It is like a lifetime ago that my own children were babies. On one hand it feels like a fleeting distant memory, and then in an instant the new babe before me will do something that takes me all the way back to when my kids were little. For this at home newborn session, it was all the baby yawns. They really pulled at my heart strings reminding me of my first born son and his perpetually adorable yawns.
